Signing Up

You can sign up using a Facebook account or your email address. Look for the "Log in or Sign Up" button in the top right corner of your screen on desktops, or in the dropdown menu on mobile devices.

A window will pop open and allow you to create an account:

If you register with an email address, your password will need be at least 8 characters in length and contain at least 3 of the following 4 types of characters:

  • Lowercase letters (a-z)
  • Uppercase letters (A-Z)
  • Numbers (i.e.0-9)
  • Special characters (e.g. [email protected]#$%^&*)

To log in later, use the same button and click "Log In" on the window that pops open.

After you log in, you are routed to your dashboard. This is where you can get a quote, enter your information, and send money.

 

Get a Quote

At the top of your dashboard, enter an amount in USD or MXN and we will create a quote for your order. You can type into either field and we will calculate the corresponding amount.

Quotes are valid for 30 seconds due to rapidly changing rates and will update automatically if time runs out.

Your transaction limits depend on your payment type.

  • ACH bank transfers: $3,000 USD per day ($10,000 per month)
  • Wire transfers: $25,000 USD per day ($50,000 per month)

Add a Recipient

Enter the name and CLABE of your recipient. A CLABE is an 18-digit bank account number in Mexico.

If you are sending money to a business, you do not need to fill out the Last Name field; just add the business name in the first box.

You can optionally add a note or reference number in the Memo field.

We figure out your recipient's bank from their CLABE number. If you do not see a bank name displayed after you have entered your CLABE, please double-check to make sure that all of the numbers are correct.

 

Link Your Bank Account

Linking an account for ACH Transfers (default)

Select your bank from our dropdown menu. If your bank is listed, we cannot automatically link your account and you can pay via wire transfer.

Next, log into your bank account. Your bank account is safe; bridge21 does not store your login credentials.

After you log in, we will link your bank account. You'll see an animation with our logo while we get your account set up.

You may be asked for additional security information from your bank. These vary from bank to bank, but may include an email verification code, answers to secret questions, or verification of biographic data (such as previous street names).

After your bank account is verified, you can choose the specific account (such as checking or savings) that we should use for your transactions.

Linking an account for Wire Transfers

First, send us a message to learn more about sending money through a wire transfer. You can skip the "Link Your Bank Account" section, but should continue down the page to verify your billing address and personal information.

When prompted, you can upload proof-of-income or other verification documents on our Upload Documents page when you are logged in.

 

Enter Your Billing Address

Enter your information as it appears on your bank account. If your state is not available in the dropdown menu, we are unable to provide service at this time. However, we would be happy to send you a notification if that changes; send us a message with your unsupported state and we can alert you.

 

Enter Your Personal Information

For security reasons, we verify your identity using your personal information.

Your phone number is used to secure your account. Please enter a phone number that can receive text messages. If you are unable to receive texts, please send us a message and we can help you another way.

Photo IDs

We also need a photo of your government-issued ID, such as a passport, VISA, INE, or driver's license. We accept valid ID from many countries, as long as your ID is not expired. It's important that your photo is glare-free, in full color, and no information is cut off. We recommend avoiding flash photography and taking your photo against a plain background.

Below is an example of a clear, glare-free, and easy-to-read photo ID:

Please upload your photo ID in JPG or PNG format. Your file should be 2MB or less in size.

 

Verifying Your Information

When you are ready, click the "Verify Personal Information" button to submit your information. This process can take a few minutes; please do not close or refresh your browser. As your identity is verified, you will see an animation with our logo.

After you have been verified, a message will appear at the top of your Personal Information box:

Once your bank and personal information are verified, you are ready to send money!

 

Sending Money

After you have linked and verified your information, you can create a transaction. Click the "Send Money" button at the bottom of your dashboard.

A modal window will pop up with an updated quote. Review the amount of USD that will be withdrawn from your bank account as well as the MXN that will be sent to your recipient. Remember: each quote is only valid for 30 seconds.

Your rate is locked in as soon as you confirm your transaction.

When you are ready, press the Confirm button to send money. We will send you an email receipt. You will also be redirected to the Transactions page, where you can view the status of your transfer.

Transfers typically take 4 to 5 business days to process.

Congratulations! You've just used the Bridge Rate to send money to Mexico.
