US domestic wire transfer (used to fund your account and pay for transactions)
US domestic wires settle in an average of 30 minutes. Settlement can take longer. It is important to follow your wire instructions exactly and include any "memo" or "reference" code in your wire. If you send a wire with incomplete or incorrect instructions, your wire will be returned and the banks may charge you fees.

How to speed up your transaction
Send your US domestic wires in the morning on banking days. This will lead to faster settlement and also speed up the delivery of your money in Mexico.

Important: your bank will not process wires sent after hours or on non-banking days until the next banking day. Contact your bank to learn more about their wire processing schedule.

US banking holidays
Here is a common list of US banking holidays:

  • New Year's Day - January 1

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - Third Monday in January

  • President's Day - Third Monday in February

  • Memorial Day - Last Monday in May

  • Independence Day - July 4

  • Labor Day - First Monday in September

  • Columbus Day - Second Monday in October

  • Veterans Day - November 11

  • Thanksgiving Day - 4th Thursday in November

  • Christmas Eve - December 24

  • Christmas Day - December 25

Less common reasons for delay
Occasionally, our compliance team or the bank's compliance team may flag your transaction for manual review. This may delay the delivery of your money in Mexico, or result in a cancelation if problems are found. This is more common for newer accounts.

How to check the status of your transaction
If you have questions about your transaction, you may contact us at [email protected] or open a chat session on our website to check the status of your transaction.
