bridge21 regulatory information

bridge21 is registered with the Financial Crimes and Enforcement Network (FinCEN). You can find our registration on their website here by searching for the legal name bridge21.

bridge21 is sponsored by a US bank that is licensed to operate in all fifty states; however, Alabama, Connecticut, Maine, New York, North Carolina, South Dakota, and Washington have created consumer protection regulation specific to virtual currency.

bridge21 has made the business decision to not offer personal accounts in these states because of the expense of virtual currency specific licensing, a lack of clarity around the rules, or in some cases both.
